Michelle Agyemang Returns to Brighton on Loan

Michelle Agyemang has signed with Brighton and Hove Albion on a loan deal from Arsenal for a second season.

The 19 year old returns to the club after a blockbuster summer, being a key player in Englands back to back Euro’s win in Switzerland. Despite only have one cap for her country prior to the tournament, Agyemang came on late in both the quarter and semi finals and scored crucial goals to keep England’s dreams alive, earning her a very deserved title of Young Player of the Tournament.

With her career and talent growing at such a high rate, the loan comes at the perfect time for the young star. This gives her the opportunity to gain crucial minutes and experience to support the growth of her skill, which she may not be guaranteed at her parent club of Arsenal, as the Champions League winners already have mounds of talents to compete with, particularly with summer signings such as Olivia Smith from Liverpool. With another season under her belt, she will be expected to return and be ready to support the squad in their growing success.
